Safe Electricity® is a public awareness program of the Energy Education Council. Since the program’s creation in 2001, Safe Electricity® has been providing information to consumers and helping complement the safety education activities of utilities and educators. Safe Electricity offers extensive online consumer education resources, ranging from lesson plans for teachers to important safety discussion topics for parents. Their mission is to create a safer, smarter world by providing life-saving, energy-saving, and cost-saving information and resources.
